OrderI have a Love/Love/Hate with Paco's. I love that it's a small, unassuming spot. A few tables inside, a few outside, clean up after yourself. Love it. I love the small menu. No need for 30+ items. Tacos, burros, quesadilla - filled with delicious meats and bomb salsa. Oh, and their rice and beans? Best in town, hands down. Here's where the hate comes in... I'm afraid that a foodstigrammer will come by and post their amazing food and it'll make it impossible to grab a beer and some tacos after work for weeks because the lines will be out the door (but that's not on Paco's... we'll kinda, their food is awesome.)
One of the best burritos I've ever had. I got the Burrito Mio and it was huge. The flavor and and quality rivaled Baconora's burrito one of my other Phoenix faves. They have 3 others and you can choose from various proteins. Also ordered some asada tacos and the Queso Birria tacos and they were all great. I need to go back and try everything else. They also have beer and some cocktails if you dine in.
Great little place for delicious, well proportioned tacos, burritos, etc. Small bar for your favorite Mexican beer, IPA or domestic. Margaritas and Paloma's also available.
This is 4th exampleWe were looking for a quick bite before a local concert and Pacos did not disappoint. Our trio tried the carne asada taco, carne asada quesadilla, and the queso birria tacos. They were all tasty. Service was quick. Staff was awesome. And dining on the patio at sunset was a great vibe. They had several Mexican beers on tap as well as margaritas and Cantaritos which was new to me but very a nice blend of beer tequila squirt and grapefruit juice served in a ceramic mug with chamoy and Tajín. Great little find.
I saw Paco's Taco's on my way out to Papago Park this morning and came back for dinner - delicious! I order carnitas tacos every time I go to a New Mexican restaurant so I can judge them. Paco's nailed it! I got three, perfect street tacos. The meat was just right - tender with some char. They were okey and juicy. I enjoyed them with the green sauce, which was also yummy. I paired it with guacamole, which was also excellent - not overpowered with garlic or onions as often happens. I could not eat the fresh chips fast enough. As a rule I never get a house margarita with mix. However, I washed it all down with their house margarita in tap which was very good.
